Adswerve CEO Clint Tasset recently attended Cannes Lions 2019, a five-day festival that explores and celebrates the value of creativity in branded communications. While there, he spoke about our purposeful data, meaningful media message in the Variety Cannes Lions Studio. Hosted by iSpot.tv and Inscape, the studio invited CMOs from top brands into the studio for networking and on-camera interviews with the Variety editors.
Tasset sat down with Allison Stern, the co-founder and CSO of Tubular Labs, and Tim Sovay, the COO of CreatorIQ, to discuss how to creatively engage audiences in today’s crowded media landscape. Variety’s Todd Spangler hosted the short discussion and elicited fascinating conversation, which hit on the concept of privacy regulations and transparency.
“You look at, where do we gain trust? And going back to what we focus on, within data and measurement, I think transparency is ultimately going to be the key player in the sense of what does that ultimately look like as far as what regulations come into play,” said Tasset.
