The annual Google Partner Summit was held in San Francisco last week, with over 600 attendees from 60 different countries around the globe. The Summit is a time when Google can address and inspire their partner landscape on upcoming initiatives and give glimpses into what to anticipate with the product as we head into 2020. And we wanted to be sure to pass along a few insights to you as well.
Updates from Google
As expected, conversations encompassed preparing for a userID redacted world and the hot topics of user trust and responsible marketing. Keynotes stemmed into Google’s highly anticipated App + Web, alongside unlocking big data via BigQuery and Cloud. Notes were dropped about upcoming changes to specific products, and use cases around the media stack on how to become a multi-moment advertiser. The Summit was buttoned up with a beautiful keynote on how the power of storytelling is now sourced in the hands of the user, and how marketers can align with emerging tech tools like Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence. Of course, there were product demos and chances to engage with product managers.
Adswerve also showcased some pretty cool stuff
Our Chief of Sales, Scott Sullivan and Sr. Analytics Manager Dani Brandtjen delivered an amazing presentation on our successes with an outdoor product giant to a packed room of peers and Googlers. Such great work was done driving new insights and implementing sophisticated audience segmentation, and it was an honor to see it highlighted. Look for more to come from us in 2020 about our adventures with the company using the Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, GA360, SA360 and more.
Our Adswerve Star Wars video was also played on both days of the Summit. The Google team had asked for submissions for Star Wars-themed videos to kick off the event this year, and of course, we here at Adswerve had to take it to the next level! All of this was tailed with a very gracious Partner Award of Excellence.
The Google Partner Summit is always a pleasure to take part in, alongside our counterparts at Google, and we are looking forward to continuing the momentum with Google Marketing Live in 2020! Please reach out if you want to hear more details about the Summit!
